[Property]:
It is a kind of natural edible marennin extracted from gardenia fruit. It is almost odorless, tasteless with little moisture absorption. 1% water solvent PH=4.5±0.5, stable within pH2-8, absorb wave length at maximum of 440、590nm. It will be faded a little after heated for 60min at 100-120℃. It fasts light. Aluminum ion and calcium ion basically has no influence and iron ion and stannum ion can deepen the color.
[Process]:
It is made from mixing yellow pigments (gardenia yellow pigments) extracted from gardenia fruit and the cyanine (gardenia cyanine) from treatment of enzyme after food processing.
[Usage]:
It is used in coloring of general foods.
